One idea for a service we could offer via the website:
We could begin a library of stock footage. We could have categories of different types of shots, geared more for use in ministry. Of course, stock footage would be a little more difficult to exclusively make for ministry, but that's not a problem. Our library could include all kinds of random things, like "beach footage" or "nature footage" or "people" or something like that.
Another thing that we could have to always be available to make us a little bit of money while other stuff is going on. Once we have a sufficient amount of shots for any kind of "library," that is.

Sounds good. When are we buying the company camera!?
Were you thinking along the lines of still shots, motion backdround type stuff, or a little bit of both?
As far as still cameras go...I'd be happy to call the camera I just bought in December the "company camera".
In response to Luke: yes. Stock stills, footage, and motion backgrounds. Tell me about your camera you bought...
And Taylor...uh, ASAP. Did I tell you about RED coming out with a new prosumer-level camera? And by prosumer-level, I mean price, not quality. It's still 4 times the res of HD, so it's freaking amazing and it is only $3750 or something for the camera plus a package of basic accessories! The problem is that they can't make them fast enough, so we'd probably be on a waiting list for a while. But I want one so BAD. Anyway. What else? Any progress on sweetening the blog site?
Its a Sony alpha digital SLR. Its pretty sweet. I definetely need to learn how to tap into its potential. I've got a 30-70 mm lens as well as a 50-200 mm zoom lens, a fish eye adapter and external high powered flash. Its got a really high shutter speed and has a lot of cool features. Basically its a great camera and can do all we need it to until we have money for a nicer one.
